List Menu
This menu allows the user to perform functions that affect the current list as a whole, or multiple items within the list. The following menu items are available.
Find
Find Again
Replace Category
Schedule Start Times
Validate Web Pages
Cut Some Slack
The find command allows you to enter a text string in a dialog box, and then searches for all items in the currently displayed list that contain the search string in any text field. The search is not case-sensitive. If any matching items are found, then the Find function will take you to the first found item on the list and display that item on the Item Tab. From this point, the user may use Next and Prior to navigate forwards and backwards through the list of found items.
For consistency with the Mac interface, there is also a Find Again item on the List Menu that allows the user to navigate forwards through the list of found items.
This function allows you to select an existing category used on the list, and then specify another existing category, or a new one, to be used as a replacement. All items with the search category will have their category changed to the replacement category specified.
For all selected items scheduled for today or in the future, start times will be automatically scheduled, using the default start time for the first item to appear on each day, and then adding the duration of each task to its start time to calculate the start time for the next item on that day. The default start time is set at the bottom of the View tab.
The Web Page entries on all items in the list will be checked. All Dead links will be selected upon return. You may use the Next and Prior buttons to navigate through the items whose links could not be validated. Note that this function requires an active Internet connection.
This function will update all past-due items to make them due today, tomorrow or a week from today. A dialog box will ask you which of these options you wish to invoke. This function is intended to be used when you fall behind and need Two Due to "cut you some slack."
