Java Support
Two Due requires a Java Runtime Environment (JRE), also known as a Java Virtual Machine (JVM). The version of this JRE/JVM must be at least 1.4.1. Visit www.java.com to download a recent version for most operating systems. The JVM is pre-installed as part of Mac OS X, and may be updated from the Software Update panel.

Executable
The Two Due program can be launched by opening a file named "twodue", followed by the executable file extension appropriate for your platform, or by the ".jar" extension. If you find a single jar file called "twodue.jar", then double-clicking on this file should cause Two Due to be executed.
Associated Files and Folders
The following files will normally be located in the same folder as the Two Due program itself.
- about.html
- This is a small HTML file describing the program. It can be viewed from the About tab within Two Due itself, or can be viewed independently with a Web browser.
- images
- A folder of images used by the program.
- parms.txt
- This is a small properties file containing information about your usage of Two Due. In versions prior to 1.6, this file stored your registration information, and would need to be preserved when you installed a new version of the program. Beginning with 1.6, registration information and other user information is preserved in the location and file(s) that are the normal preferences location for your platform.
- readme.html
- A small file that can be read using a Web browser.
- samples
- A folder of sample To Do files and Web templates that you can use as-is or modify to suit your needs.
- userguide
- A folder containing the version of the Two Due user guide that matches your executable software. You can double-click on the file named "index.html" within this folder in order to view the user guide in your Web browser.
